Và điều này càng chứng minh rõ hơn đường đi của Kanye West – cũng như nickname của Mr Ye “Yeezus” khi ngày hôm qua, trên Twitter của mình – Kanye đã công bố sự hợp tác nhiều năm ( nghe đâu là 10 năm) với một trong những thương hiệu phổ biến bậc nhất thế giới GAP. Sự hợp tác bất thình lình này sẽ tạo ra nhiều câu hỏi – nhưng đón nhận nhiều luồng phản ứng tích cực, đối cả với những người yêu thích Kanye West nói riêng và giới mộ điệu thời trang (Đặc biệt là thời trang đường phố) nói chung.

Cụ thể rằng, với sự tham gia của Kanye West và đội ngũ sáng tạo của Yeezy sẽ tạo ra một product line mang tên Yeezy dành cho Gap – và chú ý nhé, tập khách hàng là vô cùng rộng và phù hợp với toàn bộ thị trường đại chúng. Bao gồm cả menswear, womenswear, trẻ em và được phân phối chính thức tại hệ thống cửa hàng và online phủ rộng toàn cầu của Gap.

Có lẽ con đường này ngày càng được Kanye West thể hiện rõ hơn rất nhiều. Như nhiều bài viết mình đề cập, lí do vì sao Kanye lại rời khỏi Nike và đầu quân cho adidas – Nike quá kiểm soát Kanye về việc điều khiển số lượng và mức phổ biến của Yeezy Nike. Giá trị của đôi giày có thể cao, nhưng người sở hữu nó sẽ chỉ đếm trên đầu ngón tay, Kanye thì không. Mr Ye muốn sự ảnh hưởng của mình nhiều hơn thế - và ai cũng có thể có quyền sở hữu nó trên tay. Và Kanye là 1 người xứng danh Leader, điên – máu và thích gì làm nấy. Thế là các bạn sở hữu những đôi adidas yeezy một cách dễ dàng và thoải mái hơn – để cái tên “Yeezy” lúc nào cũng được phổ rộng như cuốn “Kinh Thánh” mà các con chiên mang hàng ngày vậy. Trở lại với thực tế - việc hợp tác với adidas cũng mang lại cho Kanye West một số tiền khổng lồ - với mức doanh thu khoảng 1.3 tỉ đô cho riêng năm 2019 và định giá thương hiệu Yeezy vào khoảng tầm 3 tỷ đô. Thành công không? Thành công quá đi chứ.

Nhưng – con đường này lại bất cập ở một chỗ. Một đôi giày đẹp chưa đủ, nó cần on-fit chung với một bộ quần áo hợp cạ. Hẳn ai cũng biết – Kanye còn sở hữu cho mình Yeezy Clothing với khoảng 8 mùa. Nhưng – lúc định vị thương hiệu Yeezy Clothing, Kanye đã đặt ra tiêu chí của mình với sự tự cao vốn cố là 1 brands mang tới những đồ cao cấp (so với mặt bằng streetwear chung) tới khách hàng. Điều này khá tương tự với người an hem Virgil Abloh với nào Pyrex hay Off-white. Mức giá mà Kanye định mức cho Yeezy Clothing + với cái sự hyped mang đầu, khá cao với thị trường đại chúng. Vậy nó đâu có theo tầm nhìn ban đầu khi mà Kanye đầu quân cho adidas. Yeezy for everyone? Chúa trời chỉ dành cho người giàu và người có tiền?

Yeezy Gap – Vấn đề giải quyết cho cả hai.

Đối với Kanye West – Bingo. Bài toán đã được giải quyết, GAP là phương thức mà Kanye có thể truyền tải được con người của mình tới tất cả thị trường, tất cả khách hàng với mức giá vô cùng dễ chịu. Thêm nữa – để bàn tay của chúa chạm tới tất cả chúng sinh, cần 12 vị tông đồ ở sát và chia sẻ về sứ vụ truyền bá Đức tin của Ngài. Gap với bề dày lịch sử thương hiệu ( thành lập năm 1969) – kinh nghiệm và hệ thống sản xuất quy mô lớn cùng thêm đó là hệ thống cửa hàng toàn cầu – sẽ là “những chú chim bồ câu” đưa “Yeezus” đến với những khách hàng khắp nơi. Adidas đã hoàn thành tốt nhiệm vụ này khi phổ cập Yeezy cho toàn bộ khách hàng ngày nay, vậy Gap sẽ làm được điều mà bản thân Yeezy Clothing không làm được – truyền bá sản phẩm quần áo của Kanye West tới mọi nơi.

Nhiều người sẽ nói rằng điều này sẽ hạ thấp hình ảnh của Kanye West. Cá nhân mình thì cho rằng là không. Đây là một nước đi hoàn toàn thông minh và hợp lí – khi Kanye đã ở bên sườn dốc của sự nghiệp. Để tạo thành xu hướng và viral như xưa – có lẽ Kanye West đã không còn cạnh tranh nổi nào với Travis Scott hay A$AP Rocky, ngay trong cả thời trang giờ Kanye cũng lùi về bức rèm để hậu bối Virgil tỏa sáng nhiều hơn. Vậy – giờ sẽ ảnh hưởng như thế nào, đó là đại chúng. Có thể để ý thông qua các sản phẩm âm nhạc và các lần dự sự kiện của Kanye West và ekip – đều hướng tới cộng đồng/community và những sản phẩm quốc dân như Dickies hay Carhartt.

Cá nhân quan của mình còn cho thấy chọn Gap là 1 nước đi hay. Vì đồ Gap ai cũng có thể mặc và chất lượng luôn được đảm bảo. Cá nhân mình ngày xưa có rất nhiều đồ Gap và sử dụng tới bây giờ. GAP cũng là 1 thương hiệu uy tín và gắn với lịch sử của nước Mĩ nữa. Uy tín có, chất lượng có. Hợp lí quá còn gì.

Về phần Gap:

Dù gì thì nói, Gap – ngay tại sân chơi nội địa là Mỹ (Chứ chưa kể là quốc tế) đã lép vế hơn rất nhiều với các hãng fast fashion hiện nay như Zara hay H&M và cả gã khổng lồ người Nhật Uniqlo. Trong mấy năm vừa qua, Gap đã gặp rất nhiều vấn đề về kinh doanh cũng như độ rải truyền thông, nhận diện thương hiệu các thứ. Đối với GAP, Kanye sẽ là 1 cứu cánh, 1 vị chúa xuất hiện. Vì – dù có ở sườn dốc của sự nghiệp - Kanye West vẫn là King, vẫn là Yeezus với rất nhiều người. Và với ảnh hưởng của Kanye West – chắc rằng bản hợp tác này sẽ đem khách hàng và tăng doanh thu một cách kì vọng đối với GAP như cái cách mà Kanye đã làm với adidas để đối chọi với Nike.

À mà chưa gì – hãy xem giá CP của GAP bứt nóc lịch sử trong giai đoạn suy thoái này khi cái tin Kanye về GAP kìa.

Có vẻ nghe hơi thái quá, nhưng mình cảm nhận được chính Kanye West làm hype thị trường, làm thị trường đảo lộn. Làm những sản phẩm thời trang mang streetwear bị overrated quá mức so với các đồ designer hoặc tailoring – cũng như sự bành trướng sức mạnh của những người tay ngang nhảy vào ngành công nghiệp Fashion. Chúng ta cũng không thể nào so sánh sự phức tạp giữa đồ của Yohji Yamamoto hay đồ của Kanye West vì đó là khập khiễng – nhưng nó thay đổi thị trường và khiến các thương hiệu phải chạy theo. Và giờ đây – chính Kanye West lại tái định trật tự vốn có của nó – cái gì đúng giá thì nên đúng giá trị mà nó vốn có mà thôi. Thời trang lại quay trở lại vào guồng trật tự định sẵn và như tiêu đề ban đầu “ “Chúa luôn bên chúng sinh. Ngài bên cạnh mọi người và hướng họ ra khỏi khó khăn..”

:
1- "จอร์จ ฟลอยด์" (George Floyd) เป็นหนุ่มแอฟริกัน-อเมริกัน อายุ 46 ปี เขาเป็นคุณพ่อลูกสอง เกิดและโตที่รัฐเท็กซัส เคยเรียนที่มหาวิทยาลัยเท็กซัส เอแอนด์ไอ โดยเขาเป็นนักกีฬาฟุตบอลและนักบาสเกตบอลมหาวิทยาลัยด้วย

2- ในปี 2007 ฟลอยด์ถูกจับในข้อหาปล้นทรัพย์ และในปี 2009 เขาถูกตัดสินจำคุก 5 ปี เมื่อพ้นโทษออกมาในปี 2014 ฟลอยด์ก็ย้ายจากเท็กซัสมาอยู่ที่เมืองมินนีแอโพลีส รัฐมินนิโซตา เพื่อหางานทำและเริ่มต้นชีวิตใหม่

:
4- คืนวันที่ 25 พ.ค. 2020 พนักงานร้านโชห่วยแห่งหนึ่งโทรแจ้งตำรวจ หลังสงสัยว่าฟลอยด์พยายามจะซื้อของในร้านด้วยแบงค์ 20 ดอลลาร์ปลอม

5- ตำรวจ 4 นายมาถึงที่เกิดเหตุและจับฟลอยด์ใส่กุญแจมือ แล้วผลักเขาให้นอนคว่ำหน้าลงกับพื้น ก่อนที่นายตำรวจร่างใหญ่คนหนึ่งจะใช้เข่ากดลงบนคอของเขาและทิ้งน้ำหนักตัวลงไป ใบหน้าซีกหนึ่งของฟลอยด์ถูกกดจนแนบลงไปบนพื้นถนน

7- ตำรวจคนนั้นสั่งให้ฟลอยด์ลุกขึ้นและเดินไปขึ้นรถตำรวจ ทั้งที่เขายังใช้เข่ากดลงบนคอของฟลอยด์อยู่

8- คนที่เดินผ่านไปมาเริ่มหยุดดูเหตุการณ์ และหลายคนถ่ายคลิปเอาไว้ พวกเขาพยายามบอกตำรวจว่าฟลอยด์กำลังจะตาย เลิกกดคอเขาไว้ได้แล้ว และเขาก็ไม่ได้มีท่าทีขัดขืนอะไรเลย

:
10- คลิปที่ตำรวจกดเข่าลงบนคอฟลอยด์จนเขาหมดสติกลายเป็นไวรัลอย่างรวดเร็ว ตำรวจพยายามอ้างว่าฟลอยด์ขัดขืนการจับกุม แต่ต่อมาก็มีอีกคลิปโผล่มาเป็นพยานให้ฟลอยด์ ว่าเขาไม่ได้มีท่าทีขัดขืนอะไรเลย ที่สำคัญตำรวจยังไม่รู้ด้วยซ้ำว่าฟลอยด์ทำผิดจริงหรือไม่

11- เหตุดังกล่าวทำให้คนจำนวนมาก ไม่ว่าจะเป็นคนดำหรือคนขาวไม่พอใจเป็นอย่างมาก โดยมองว่าตำรวจทำเกินกว่าเหตุ และปฏิบัติกับฟลอยด์ราวกับเขาไม่ใช่คน

12- ประเด็นการเหยียดสีผิวถูกหยิบยกขึ้นมาพูดถึงอย่างดุเดือด เพราะเป็นที่ตั้งข้อสังเกตกันมานานแล้วว่า ตำรวจปฏิบัติต่อผู้ต้องสงสัยที่เป็นคนดำรุนแรงกว่าคนขาวหรือไม่

13- วันที่ 27 พ.ค. ตำรวจทั้งสี่นายที่ทำการจับกุมฟลอยด์ถูกไล่ออกทั้งหมด ได้แก่
